Abstract
This research aimed to 1) to study the threefold principles in Theravada Buddhism, 2) to study the conditions of the development of the quality of life of students in Srilaiwittaya School, Si Wilai District, Buengkan Province, and 3) to study the ways of improving the quality of life according to the threefolds of the Si Wilaiwittaya School students. Sriwilai, Bueng Kan Province
The results showed that:
There are 3 aspects of the threefold which are: precepts, concentration and wisdom
For development of the students’ qualification in Srivilaividaya school had to be developed in various dimensions, that is, to develop the quality of life in the physical, emotional and intellectual aspects to increase the knowledgeable skill for oneself. Not to develop the quality of life effects on developing good quality in accordance with the principle of Buddhism and it will be obstacle to develop the quality of life and the principle of doctrine for developing the quality of life.
The results of research were found that to apply the principle of Threefold Training for development of the students’ quality of life in Srivilaividaya school, Srivilai District, Buengkarn Province to develop the students’ quality of life in three aspects, that is, the aspect of skill, virtue and morality and happiness. To apply the quality of life by applying the Threefold Training in three aspects, that is, precepts, meditation and wisdom for the principle of developing the quality of life in three aspects, that is, skill, virtue and morality and happiness. This is the education to make the better life that results from that education and the way of training by beginning to clear the places for study, that is, to study the three aspects to develop the life with the whole systems respectively.
