The Guideline for Promoting Educational Public Aids of Sangha in Buengkan Province

Abstract

The objectives of the research were; 1) to study the concept related to educational public aids of Sangha 2) to study the educational public aids of Sangha in Buengkan Province and 3) to offer the advice of the guideline for promoting educational public aids of Sangha in Buengkan Province. This research was the qualitative research by analyzing the data from Tipitaka, Buddhist academic documents, related researches and data from the interview and to report the results of research with descriptive analysis. The results of research were found that the public aids must be done by Sangha directly, that is, to advise mentally, to be advisors in various problems, and to be able to be the mental refuge by practicing themselves as the model. The educational public aids of Sangha in Buengkan District, Buengkan Province, when being considered in details, were found that the educational public aids are the process of activities in order to be the public aids and public advantages or the places to be public properties of general people in the aspect of education both mentally and physically including the Dhamma study and worldly study. If the folks are not ready to help themselves, and the Buddhist monks as the local leaders, should advise them to create the ideas concerning what they should do for the benefit of the community and for the material aspect, it can be done indirectly by encouraging the others to do or bring the received things or the services from the others to share in order to make the benefit for others widely.
