Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the Buddhist sufficient economy and the solution of debt problems of people in Srivilai District, Buengkarn Province by diving the aspects as follows: For the principle of Buddhist sufficient economy in the Buddhist scripture, the purposes were to study the importance, meanings, types and the concepts of the scholars. The principles of Buddhist sufficient economy and the principle of doctrine as the opponent for the Buddhist sufficient economy and the doctrine of enhancement for the Buddhist sufficient economy in the aspect of production, consumption, exchange of communities and management of products. The general situations of people’s debts in Srivilai District, Buengkarn Province were that people have less income than payment. The debts in the aspect of living, business and consumption force to be in debt from the capitalists. The debt is the contact among double persons who sign the contact together, Whether the contacts are signed or not is up to the related law with the creditor or debtor. When they violet the contacts they will proceed in accordance with law as related. The results of research were found that the situation of the debts of people who borrow money creates the problems towards people’s lives not only from the policy of the government When the situation of debts occurs, it results in the effect on the way of life The application of the Buddhist sufficient economy to solve the people’s debts in Srivilai District, Buengkarn Province is regarded as the right way for solution of the problems not only the problem of family in living in the mental, physical aspect but also the aspect of way of life and society.
