Study the guidelines for the Dissemination of Dhamma Among Monks in Accordance with Theravada Buddhism Phon Phisai District, Nong Khai Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were; 1) to study the concept concerning the propagation in accordance with the way of Buddhism 2) to study the propagation in compliance with the way of Buddhism and 3) to study the models and the way to propagate Dhamma of Sangha in the territory of Phonphisai District, Nongkhai Province. This research was the qualitative research by analyzing the data from Tipitaka, Buddhist academic documents, related researches and field research studies and then reported the results of research by descriptive analysis. The results of research were found that the ways to propagate Buddhism of the Lord Buddha consisted of various techniques suitable for every classes and various target groups in the Buddhist period, that is, the Buddha emphasized what would be appropriate for Him to teach people or not and various methods and processes for propagation of Buddhism were in the order. So all those methods and processes made Buddhists accept, believe and get interested and they participated and enhanced until to get successes in propagation of Buddhism widely. The Buddhist monks in Phonephisai District, Nongkhai Province carried on their duties in propagating Dhamma in accordance with the words of the Lord Buddha to teach Dhamma and practice by teaching people to practice the moralities daily in every Buddhist Holiday. They preached Dhamma by the way of Radio broadcasting station and in the educational institutes, in various organizations both private and state sectors and carried out their duties by chanting in the morning and the evening everyday and to go to the church for performing the Sangha Kamma continuously except for the necessary duties. In addition, the preachers would have wide vision and the innovatory creation.
