Development of Community Participatory Management Model for Educational Upgrading of Municipal School 1 Buriratdarunwittaya

Abstract

The purposes of the research were 1) to study the foundation information on Development of Community Participatory Management Model 2) to design and develop a Model and Method of Participation for the Community 3) to try the pattern on of a Development Model of Participation for the Community and 4) to evaluate the satisfaction and improve the Development of Model and Method Participation for the Community. The sampling group were 120 people, selected by simple random sampling. The research tools were questionnaire, satisfaction form and interview. The statistic used percentage, mean and standard deviation, pair t-test and content analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1. The school organized the co-operation in educational development with community. From the result, the researcher didn’t actually find any important evidences from a trial, any documents or interview from whom it may concerned. Moreover, the community lacked of the realization directly or indirectly in participation in educational management. 2. The model and the developed method called PARM Model. Under the operation of this model to community’s participation in educational management, found that the model was appropriate and possible. 3. The result of trial was high level ( = 4.23). The result of the development was at high level ( =4.27) and the result of the comparison pre-post trial was not different significantly at .05 4. The assessment of satisfaction and model improvement, the researcher operated Model and Development of Community Participatory Management Model for Educational Upgrading of Municipal School 1 “Buriratdarunwittaya”. The result of overall satisfaction of teachers, basic education commissions and students was at high level ( = 4.09)
