Abstract
This article aims to 1. study the conditions of natural disasters occurring in Chiang Rai province; 2. create an application called ‘Anxiety-Free’, and test it using the participation of local people in the north of Chiang Rai province; 3. use the ‘Anxiety Free’ application to send warnings and reminders, and to send help immediately to people affected by natural disasters, whether earthquakes, floods or fogs, in the north of Chiang Rai province. This academic paper is both documentary research and a qualitative study, examination, and interview, to lay down areas for co-operation and create an application. There is a meeting to lay down plans for researching and studying documents, evidence, and theories, and to study research relating to the conditions of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, landslides, floods, fogs, and forest fires, and to set areas for studying conditions causing natural disasters. Also, to collect knowledge and co-operation and create an application for restoration and treatment of mental and emotional conditions of local people affected by dangerous or critical conditions from natural disasters in Chiang Rai province. To operate a model for holding meetings and conducting fieldwork, and write reports, publicize the application and use it to advantage. It will be seen that the ‘Anxiety Free’ application is a central point; it has a system to send warnings and a system to send calls for assistance and includes growth to be a record of messages, through both sound and video. The local people can co-operate in being on the alert, and volunteer help will be available 24 hours a day. There will be integration and co-operation from government, province, district, sub-district, population, village, temples, and schools to provide assistance and knowledge, including contributing to the budget, which has been the origin of the ‘Anxiety-Free’ application.
